augie680@hotmail.com BioI'm not one to toot my own horn, but I think I'm pretty allright. On certain days, I'm not so fond of myself, but on others I'm fairly awesome. I do think I'll change the world in some way, I just haven't figured out if it'll be for the better or the worse.
I have a near-obsession with words and literature, and their meaning. This has lead me to a pursuit of education in this field, as I'm an English student. Can't say I'm a very great one, but I try, and I enjoy it, so why bother complaining?
I really don't sweat the small stuff, but the big things in life scare me, so I'm constantly talking about them and their impact on myself and the world around me.
I update my livejournal at a fairly frequent rate, and more often then not, I produce something long. I rarely do under a thousand words anymore. I also try to inject some style and substance into this thing, as I see it as a practice in writing, for a hopeful career as a writer at some point. Maybe not, as I want to be a teacher as well, and having two jobs seems slightly crazy at this point in my life.
I'm also in love with music. I have no talent in the area at all, but nothing gives me greater pleasure then to listen, analyze, form opinions, and ultimately, absorb music that I enjoy. It's mostly rock and roll, but I'm fairly open to anything really.
I enjoy talking, and arguing, and I think, and have been told, that I'm quite good at both. Long as someone's engaging me in discussion or willing to let me engage them, I think that person is pretty decent, and maybe even a fine individual.
You wouldn't know it by this "oh-so-serious" Bio, but I swear I'm actually really funny. I've won the "Funniest Jesse in this Very Spot of Existence" for the past fifteen years in a row. Remarkable, eh?
